The Crux

A Spoken Word for Easter

We labored over this with trembling hands and tearful eyes.
This isn’t just a poem. It’s the gospel—spoken cinematically, captured simply, and offered boldly.

Our prayer is that it stirs belief, repentance, and worship.
That it reminds weary hearts: the Word is never late.
And as long as you’re still breathing, it is never too late to return, to repent, to believe.

This piece is too sacred to place behind a paywall.
But to our paid subscribers—thank you.
You help carve out the time and space for us to create work like this. You are part of the offering.

A special thanks to our children, too—for holding down the fort and loving each other well so that Mom and Dad could build this together.
What may look simple took all hands on deck.

And above all—thank You, God.
You are the One this is for.
You take our little and make it much.
You multiply what we surrender.
You are the God who takes loaves and fishes—morsels of faithfulness—and feeds multitudes.

We have no expectations of what this will become,
but whatever fruit it bears will be from You alone.

Happy Easter.
